If you are in your 20s or 30s, you’re invited on Thursday nights to hear a speaker and to socialize with other young adults. All talks are held in Our Lady’s Lower Church and start at 7 PM. Following the presentation, all attendees are invited to join us just down the road at Tommy Doyle’s pub to discuss and socialize.

Ruach Elohim - Breath, Christianity, and Neuroscience” with Michael C. “Mookie” Manalili.
Mookie is fascinated by questions prompted by experiences of suffering, meaning, and transcendence, asked by the Mystery of Life itself. He is currently a dual-Masters student at Boston College, studying Clinical Social Work and Systematic Theology. He splits his time serving as a therapist in training, assisting in a neuroscience lab, and writing on phenomenological psychology. He hopes to pursue doctoral studies in the field of social neuroscience here in Boston one day, to further explore the human condition, and help integrate discourse in the fields of philosophy, theology, and psychology.
