Good news! Catholic Charities has informed our collaborative that we will be welcoming a refugee family in a few weeks.

On June 25th parishioners, staff, and clergy gathered to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Sacred Heart Church.

The implications of last Monday’s Supreme Court action, allowing parts of the administration’s travel ban to go forward, are not yet clarified. Catholic Charities is working to get answers for us. But we are going forward with gathering furniture and household goods for a Somali family of five. Of immediate need are people to move furniture into a storage area at Sacred Heart convent.
